Most of the 70 plus children in Mangalia Municipal Hospital are abandoned or orphans, many have been in this hospital all their lives, forgotten by their families, and society. Most of the children have a form of Tuberculosis that affects their bones; as a result they have been left with visible handicaps.

Osana Foundation visits these children several times a week, trying to improve the quality of life these children have. We are attempting this by doing several things: by supplementing their alarmingly poor diets with food that is nutritious (fruit, vegetables, etc.), providing clothing and hygiene products for the children, remembering their birthdays, organizing educational programs for the children. . . and most importantly by building relationships with these children. They realize now that their lives matter to someone and that they are loved. These children are so precious and valuable in our eyes, but more importantly they are of great worth in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.
